Forest Enterprise Scotland is redesigning how we deliver great visitor experiences and first rate customer care for diverse communities across Scotland and for our visitors to the National Forest Estate. At the heart of the changes is a new national visitor services post. That is where you come in.

 

We are looking for an inspiring individual to take up this new role in the new Community and Visitor Services function.

 

This is a great opportunity for you as a professional countryside or recreation manager to make the role your own, to lead a dedicated team and provide excellent customer service to the public who undertake 10 million annual visits to the National Forest Estate. You will work with diverse stakeholders and deliver benefits for communities across Scotland.

 

We can support you with bespoke training and coaching to further develop your range of skills and experience and we are happy to consider part-time or flexible working arrangements for a role which stretches across Scotlandís largest public landholding.

 

To be successful in the role you will be;

 

  • An experienced leader with a proven track record of successfully balancing both strategic leadership across our recreation and tourism offer and the ability to deliver operational priorities
  • A confident communicator who is comfortable leading change and building positive relationships with customers and communities from diverse backgrounds
  • An exceptional business leader in countryside management, leisure or hospitality sectors
