Kentís Magnificent Moths Project Development Officer

Fixed term contract (9 months)

£24,307 - £28,083 (Band C) dependent on experience, plus 5% pension contribution


We are seeking an experienced, creative and highly organised individual to develop our conservation work on some of the UKís rarest and most threatened species of moths across a variety of landscapes.


Based in Ashford, Kent, you will develop a pilot scheme and second stage funding application focussing on raising awareness of how species and habitat conservation are connected.  Using moths as a gateway to inspire people and encourage local communities to value diverse landscape heritage and the wildlife that lives there.


Outstanding communication skills and an understanding of species and habitat conservation are essential. Experience of working with partner organisations, volunteers and others are a must.
