The South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) is one of England’s newest National Parks and sits in a beautiful part of Southern England.

Truleigh Hill is a hilltop settlement on the Downs above Brighton. The site was historically used as a radar station and there were few other buildings in the area. More recent developments and changes in land use have degraded this highly visible landscape located on the South Downs Way National Trail. It is an area with great potential to develop projects that help to improve the landscape and interpret its unique and interesting history.

We are looking for an experienced Community Landscape Project Officer to support and co-ordinate delivery of the Truleigh Hill Landscape Project. The project is to work with the local residents, businesses, landowners and other stakeholders to develop and implement a consensus led landscape improvement plan for the Truleigh Hill area.

You will develop and implement innovative and imaginative landscape and cultural heritage projects alongside the community and other interest groups. You will be confident in liaising with contractors, and planning and fundraising for additional project resources, with the support of partners and other SDNPA staff.

Sound like something that interests you?  Think you can really add value to the role?  Meet the person specification?  Then please apply!
