Waterways & Recreation Officer

Salary  26,999 to 31,371 per annum

Grade F

Permanent

37 hours per week

 

The post involves working with stakeholders and a range of Broads Authority staff to develop and implement key strategies and work programmes for the Broads.  The post provides recreational expertise across all Authority duties, including the statutory planning function.

 

The successful candidate will have a degree or relevant qualification at a similar level, supported by sound experience in navigation and/or recreation management or development.  They should have proven project management skills and experience, as well as a good knowledge and understanding of relevant planning, access and navigation legislation. Ideally they will have an understanding of project funding sources and requirements.
