Full-time – 37 hours a week

Band E - £17,007 - £18,672 per annum (with possible progression to £21,074 per annum).


Are you a skilled and experienced administrator who enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds, and would welcome the opportunity to help look after the Yorkshire Dales National Park? 


We are looking for someone to help us administer the Authority’s Volunteer and Education & Events services. This is a demanding, yet exciting, role which includes a wide variety of important tasks including, but not limited to: helping to run our guided walks programme; organising our presence at shows; processing volunteer expense claims; ordering goods; producing e-newsletters and reports; and monitoring budgets. As the first point of contact for Volunteers you will also assist the Volunteers Development Officer in managing our service and ensuring its smooth running.


You must be able to prioritise competing demands and have great customer care skills even when working under pressure. Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, are essential, along with an aptitude to quickly pick up other software programmes. Excellent organisational skills, and a high attention to detail are required, as well as the ability to manage and process significant amounts of information.
