Hestercombe Gardens Trust is looking for someone to join our
fantastic team of gardeners/estate workers. Settled near Taunton in
Somerset and steeped in history, Hestercombe is a 300 acre estate run as
an independent charity. We are a small charity with big ideas. The team
is small and the work that we do here is extremely varied and fast
paced.
The person we are looking for must be enthusiastic, energetic and
have a can- do attitude to work.
They must have a minimum of 3 years chainsaw experience and a
CS30/31. Ideally they will have worked in some form of countryside
management in previous roles. They need to have good machinery skills
and be confident operating and maintaining machinery. We need someone
with PA1/PA6 certificates, good tree and landscape knowledge, hands on
skills, and a love of the outdoors.
