Project Manager with FSC Orielton

Salary - £32,013 - £38,176 per annum. 

Contract Term – Permanent


Overall Job Purpose:


This is a key operational and leadership role, working under the direction of the Head of Group (West), with the support of a Mentor and expertise from the Project Advisory Team.  The key focus of the role initially will be to manage the Orielton Project – “Creating an Estate for Outdoor Learning” by:


  • Realising the formal and informal outdoor learning potential in the Estate.
  • Constructing additional flexible customer accommodation.
  • Maximising commercial and grant income from the Estate.
  • Developing and piloting educational products using the Estate.
  • Working with the Product Development team to develop and promote the product and project.


It is expected that within the first three years the following outcomes will have been achieved:


  1. Developed, piloted and reviewed new products.
  2. Established a sustainable growth in income by an agreed percentage each year.
  3. Established a business model that significantly increases surplus to meet agreed targets.
  4. Project adapted in response to customer feedback in order to maintain re-booking at an agreed rate.


This is an active role and will require the job holder to be able to carry out duties associated with all aspects of running a busy learning location.
