We own and care for over 1,000 woodland sites across the United Kingdom and support the creation and management of woodland on others’ land.

The Role
The Site Manager will represent the Woodland Trust locally, managing a diverse portfolio of woodlands within Leicestershire and the National Forest area to the highest professional standard, in line with the Trusts standards and ensuring the safety of our visitors, contractors and volunteers.

You will lead woodland creation projects, as well as silvicultural management of young secondary woodland sites through to PAWS. You'll lead on public access improvements and grazing projects while advocating our work, engaging supporters and influencing others to act.

There’s no other organisation like the Woodland Trust. Whatever you do here you will be supporting our work to protect and enhance woods and trees. In return, we recognise and value our people.
