Logo: Avian EcologySeasonal Ecologist (initial six month basis)

 

In response to our continuing success, Avian Ecology is looking for a seasonal ecologist to join our skilled team, based in our Lower Stretton (near Warrington) office. The role will be initially on a six month contract.

 

Over the last decade, Avian Ecology has earned a reputation for professional excellence, delivering consultancy services to the highest of standards on projects of all scales across the UK.

Our clients are from both the public and private sectors and our project portfolio is diverse and challenging.

The successful candidate will provide support for our on-going work on projects of all scales across the UK. Duties will include fieldwork, data management and some report writing, and there will be opportunities to develop field and consultancy skills.

 

Key requirements are:

 

  • A passion for the subject
  • Excellent communication skills, with a positive pro-active approach
  • Attention to detail

 

Previous field work experience, either in the consultancy or paid sectors would be an advantage, as would strong botanical or bird identification field skills however, necessary training and mentoring will also be provided.

 

A full clean driversí licence is essential.
