Hours: Permanent, Full Time

Location: House of Dun, Angus

Salary range: £23,897


Key Purpose: To ensure that the garden and related policies of House of Dun are managed and maintained as a regionally-recognised garden of outstanding historical and horticultural importance; contributing to the property’s overall conservation and development, and its enjoyment by visitors and supporters. The Head Gardener is a key member of the House of Dun team and will be heavily involved in the development plans for the garden and wider designed landscape and will be responsible for delivery of the development plans. Additionally they will be a key member of the estate management team which has some degree of responsibility for the care and maintenance of other properties in the cluster such as Barry Mill at Carnoustie and Barrie’s Birthplace in Kirriemuir.
