Conservation Manager
The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales is seeking to recruit a
Conservation Manager to cover Bridgend, the Vale and Cardiff.
We are looking for an experienced ecologist / conservationist with line management skills to join our senior management team. You will develop and implement WTSWWs conservation objectives and strategies in this region of south Wales which includes urban and rural areas. As well as ecological skills (key habitats: grassland, wetland, woodland, coastal as well as urban wildlife) you will need to have practical experience of project management (including contracts and budgets) and knowledge of at least one of: Outdoor learning, people engagement or green infrastructure.
This will be a varied and busy job in a beautiful part of Wales,
working within a dedicated, friendly and energetic team of staff and
volunteers.
Salary: £25k Location: Based at The Nature Centre, within Parc Slip nature
reserve, Tondu, Bridgend. Hours: 35 per week with flexi / TOIL
