Are you a looking for a new challenge working as part of a team to lead on the delivery of an exciting new 130 hectare woodland creation scheme?


Forestry England are seeking a Project Forester to join the Thames Beat team to lead and project manage the delivery of a new woodland creation scheme on an arable farm in Kent, and provide support to the wider district to deliver its woodland creation programme.


Thames Beat is part of East District which employs over 150 staff to manage 35,000 ha from North Norfolk to Brighton - a varied landholding that includes pine forest, community woodlands and ancient woodland with numerous designated conservation and heritage sites and a range of recreation provision.


This role offers someone with proven experience of project delivery and sound knowledge of forestry and land management to be at the forefront of creating a productive woodland resilient to climate change.
