Trainee Field Studies & Activities Instructor - Isle of Arran

 

Lochranza Centre CIC is a residential outdoor Field Studies & Activities Centre looking after up to 75 young people per week.  We teach Geology, Geography & Biology in the outdoors & offer a range of adventure activities including Gorge Walking, Abseiling, Canoeing & Mountain Biking.  We are looking for an enthusiastic Geology Graduate to join our small team.  You must be comfortable outdoors.  You must be happy with on-site residential living.  We should be willing to work towards attending a Summer Mountain Leader Course which requires experience of 20 quality mountain days.  You will work in all areas of the Centre - Catering, Housekeeping & Instructing whilst you gain experience & on site & NGB qualifications.  Paid at National Living Wage with a deduction for accommodation.

 

Contract commences 1st September until mid November.  We will then review for a 2020 contract.
