37.5 hours per week

£25,500 per annum rising to £26,000 per annum on completion of probation

 

Essex Wildlife Trust is the countyís leading conservation charity.  It has more than 37,000 members, manages and protects over 8,400 acres of land on 87 nature reserves and 2 nature parks and runs 11 visitor centres.  The aim of Essex Wildlife Trust is to Protect Wildlife for the Future and for the People of Essex.  It is supported financially by members, local businesses and grant making organisations.  It is one of the largest of the 47 county wildlife trusts that work together throughout the British Isles as The Wildlife Trusts.

 

As a member of the Landscape Conservation South West area team, the postholder will support the Area Manager delivering Landscape Conservation in the South West area of Essex. This will be done through effective team management, assisting on favourable status habitat and species management of EWT area landholdings/Visitor Centre sites and assisting the efficient and effective delivery of the Trustís County conservation and people engagement objectives.
