An opportunity has arisen for a Biodiversity Officer to work on an invertebrate-focused wildlife recording and public engagement project on behalf of the North Pennines AONB Partnership.


This is a shared role with an incumbent officer, and responsibilities for managing our ‘Cold Blooded and Spineless’ project will be shared between the two officers. The project runs until the end of December 2020 and this is a 5 day/week contract for 12 months, with the possibility of extension until the end of the project if funding allows

Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent, in an ecology, environment, biological science, or related subject together with significant experience of successful working on biodiversity projects. They should be well organised, and have significant experience of working with volunteers, community groups and a variety of other partners on partnership projects.

 

Grade 10 £29,909 to £33,136 (37 hours per week)
