Job Title: Seasonal Wildlife Ranger

Salary: £17,500 per annum pro rata

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week

Contract Mid May- Mid October 


Job Description:


The seasonal ranger will assist the project manager with running the Glengorm Wildlife Project on the Isle of Mull, Scotland. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual, full of ideas to help drive the project forward.


This role offers a unique opportunity to leave your mark and bring your personal skills, experience and interests to help develop a conservation and education programme on a working estate in the Scottish Islands.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Organise, advertise, take bookings and lead guided natural history walks for groups of all ages
  • Assist with our education and events program. 
  • Assist with conservation management at Glengorm
  • Work with other organisations to plan and conduct joint events and activities on the estate
  • Assist with the running of the Glengorm Visitor Centre and gift shop
  • Raise awareness about Glengormís natural history, archaeology and sustainable agriculture
  • Assist with maintaining the projectís social media accounts and website
