21,479 to 23,556 pro rata + 3% pension contribution

30 hours per week (potential to increase to 37 hours)

 

The Steel Valley Project is a long standing and award winning countryside management partnership based in Stocksbridge, Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

 

We are seeking an Environmental Project Officer to deliver our environmental projects and lead a team of dedicated volunteers.

 

The person we are looking for is committed to delivering an exciting range of projects to support the communities and wildlife in our operational area.

 

With a proven background in countryside and land management, the right candidate will require a broad range of skills to deliver projects as diverse as habitat and access management, training and environmental education.

 

You will have the ability to work with volunteers and the local community meeting a range of required outcomes, working on a host of countryside and environmental projects requiring a good knowledge and experience of delivering habitat management, access and community work.
