Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the rescue and hedgehog care. Overseeing a volunteer programme, work placements and ongoing research and data collection. Charity administration, social media and fundraising.

A varied role, there is a significant amount of hedgehog care, overseeing car shifts and administering medications. Also admin and social media.

The rescue is busiest in summer and autumn, hoglet season and autumn juveniles

 

Qualifications needed:

Animal based degree, research experience

Additional training: Wildlife rehab CPD courses

Skills needed: Excellent communication skills, resilience, stamina
