Overview
The Biological Recording Company is a specialist biodiversity training and consultancy organisation dedicated to strengthening biological recording across the UK. We help people develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to discover, identify and record wildlife, while supporting organisations to collect, interpret and use high-quality biodiversity data.
We deliver a comprehensive programme of in-person training courses, practical natural history experiences, live webinars and online self-study courses, alongside consultancy and biological recording projects. Working with ecologists, conservation professionals, local authorities, environmental organisations and amateur naturalists, we make natural history skills more accessible, promote high-quality biological recording and help ensure that better biodiversity data leads to better decisions for nature.
