Looking to kickstart your conservation career? As part of the Keeping it Wild project, we are offering 5 paid traineeships for young people aged 16-25. Keeping it Wild trainees will have the opportunity to work across multiple London Wildlife Trust nature reserves across the capital. 5 full time 4-month placements starting Monday 16th January 2023. Unique opportunity to spend time working with the London Wildlife Trust team, learning valuable practical skills in urban nature conservation, community engagement and communications. To apply:

The Exmoor Squirrel Project is a partnership of public, private and 3rd sector organisations committed to managing down populations of grey squirrels to assist recovery, expansion and resilience of trees and woodland, and to prepare for the restoration of native species. PAY Training


We are an Eton based Swan Charity, Swan Lifeline. We rescue, rehabilitate and release swans within a 50 miles radius of Eton. We are only able to operate as we have a great group of volunteers who help. Volunteering with us would include, cleaning pens, feeding, and usual bird care, helping on rescues when needed and releases back into the wild. PAY Hands on experience with British wildlife


Do you have a passion for British wildlife and a free morning/afternoon per week? Do you want to support a small, family led charity situated in the beautiful Broadwater Forest? Are you reliable, committed and looking to connect with other wildlife enthusiasts? Folly Wildlife Rescue is looking for weekend volunteers to support our small team of staff who care for a huge variety of British wildlife admitted into our hospital. You will need to be reliable, enthusiastic, caring and physically able to clean, bend and kneel for 3-4 hours. Shifts available are: Saturday 9-1pm or 1-5pm; Sunday 9-1pm. For those interested in learning more about British wildlife our Wildlife Rehabilitation and Release courses may be the perfect fit. The British Big Cat Society is a UK Network of people whose aim is to research, study and analyse the presence of Big Cats throughout Britain. Another major focus will be to educate the public about big cats in general and also more specifically about the ones we believe are present in the UK.
