We are looking for a new Wet Grassland Adviser to work with landowners across the Norfolk Broads and Suffolk Coast to deliver habitat design, creation and improvement projects aimed at breeding waders, but with benefits for a range of other wetland wildlife.

This advisory role will play a key contribution to help grow the RSPB’s Fair to Nature programme and improve habitats to protect and restore nature and wildlife on UK farms with one specific major business partner, and with a wide range of other farmers and businesses.

We are looking for a stock person to work as part of a 6-person team responsible for the management of 2000 beef cattle on the Ouse Washes on a 6-month contract. The main duties will include daily shepherding, cattle movements, routine veterinary treatments, treating ailments, assisting with record-keeping, and maintaining infrastructure.
Ecologist - Norfolk Rivers Trust

Our ambitious Hanson - RSPB Wetland project at Needingworth, creating Ouse Fen reserve, is the largest planned nature conservation restoration scheme following mineral extraction in Europe. When complete, it will include the UK’s largest reedbed, covering 460 hectares (that’s 644 football pitches of land well managed for nature!) Recreating some of the lost wetland habitat that once dominated the entire fenland landscape and creating wildlife successes for species such as bitterns and bearded tits. As the Senior Project Manager for the area, you would be responsible for the effective delivery of projects and ensuring the RSPB delivers on project objectives, outcomes and outputs.
