Lead Forester - Grosvenor Estate

This role will be based at our Eaton Estate, just outside Chester city centre.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Forester to join our Grosvenor Forestry and Conservation Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a broader team with increasing and renewed focus on woodland management, arboriculture, conservation and timber processing. Reporting to the Head of Forestry, the main purpose of the role is to lead a forestry team and to organise, supervise and implement day-to-day forestry tasks such as harvesting, planting and maintenance. The Lead Forester will deal with operational health and safety which includes risk assessment, maintenance of machinery and supervision of staff and contractors.
