Fieldwork Instructor

Wild Things is looking for a Fieldwork Instructor to join the team.

Salary: £22,750 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week (fulltime)
Contract Duration: Approximately 7 months (up to October 2024)
Start date: as soon as possible

Award-winning environmental education charity, Wild Things, is seeking an experienced outdoor practitioner to join the fieldwork team in the delivery of our charitable and social enterprise programmes.

We would like to bring into the team someone who is playful yet professional, who loves spending time outdoors, sharing their passion for the natural world with both young and old. Our ideal candidate will engage people on a variety of activities that promote an understanding and care for the environment as well as the health and wellbeing of our clients and participants.

The successful candidate will not only contribute towards a wide variety of outdoor education activities across Moray and the Highlands through our Silver Saplings project, but will take the lead on delivering two new after school clubs focused on providing extracurricular environmental education and bushcraft activities for children and teenagers in the Forres area.
