About Us:

Louma Farm and Retreat is an exciting new destination in the glorious West Dorset Countryside. Our focus is on wellness and a big part of that is centred on producing wholesome food for our guests from our farm and garden. We farm and garden regeneratively and are adopting principles of agroforestry and silvopasture.

About you:

You will be experienced with cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry. Duties will include:

• Livestock and housing checks, cleaning, maintenance and care
• Milking our Red Ruby Devons
• Lambing and calving duties
• Grazing and land management
• General farm work – tractor and machinery experience required
• Record keeping
• Implementing set Health & Safety procedures
• Supporting operations beyond the farm
• Assisting with visitor experiences
• Weekend, morning and evening working required
  

 
You should have :

• energy, a can-do attitude,
• able to work alone or with others, with good people skills
• a natural with livestock.

   
We appreciate that this is a broad role and training may be offered for the right candidate.
