Senior Education Officer - £15,000

 

Blackpool Zoo’s has a vacancy for a Senior Education Officer, who will assist the Education Manager with the development, delivery and evaluation of keystage 1-4, HE and FE zoo education. The post will also involve assisting the delivery of the public talks programme and conservation initiatives.

 

 The successful candidate will have:

●  Completed a relevant degree  ●  A broad knowledge of zoological, research and conservation issues ●  The ability to communicate effectively and be able to interact with a variety of different

public sectors.  ●  Experience of teaching in a zoo based, environmental or outdoor education  ●  Experience of production of educational resources material using a variety of media. ●  Experience in building partnerships and contacts with schools, colleges and other professionals ●  Excellent organisational skills –  ability to manage and prioritise workload and meet deadlines  ●  The ability to manage the education team as required.  ●  Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.  ●  Must be enthusiastic and hard working with a passion for conservation

WEST NORFOLK ASSISTANT WARDEN

 

Salary: £15,000 - £16,250 depending on experience (3 year contract)

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is seeking an assistant warden to join our West Norfolk reserve management team to work on some of the County’s premier nature reserves.  You will have experience of habitat management work including mowing, cutting, use of machinery and general manual work.
