Head of Investigations – Scotland

£24,000 -£28,000 per annum

Edinburgh

We are looking for a committed individual to join a small team, to assist in the detection of wildlife crime incidents and in following cases through by, assisting statutory agencies in the resultant enforcement actions. You will have good knowledge of Scotland’s birds and habitat, and an appreciation of the sensitivities surrounding our work. You will be able to thrive in a dynamic and often unpredictable work environment and contribute your own ideas within an established RSPB framework. You will have good bird identification and navigation skills, a willingness to work flexibly and often long hours in remote locations. Good record keeping is essential. This is a predominately an outdoor based role, but with significant periods of office based work.
