Until recently we have excluded recruitment agencies from using our services; however, CJS is now under new ownership and we believe that this is an area which would be of great value to our readers who in turn would be perfect for some of your clients.

A little more information

 

Originally for countryside rangers CJS readership now includes job seekers across the countryside and conservation sectors and whilst we do advertise environmental and sustainability vacancies we do not consider these areas our speciality.

 

When you are next advertising for rangers, ecologists, arboriculturalists, estate managers or any land based posts please consider using CJS.  As this is a new area for CJS we are, at present, unable to provide any samples or comparisons.  However, in our survey of advertisers, run throughout 2006, 63% stated that the standard of applicant was higher than average and 80% that the response from their advert with CJS was as good or better than other publications.  Our website comes top in a web search (google, yahoo and ask) for countryside jobs and receives 23 million clicks per year, equivalent to 1.25 million page impressions.  We do not use any data capture methods and therefore cannot specify number of unique users.

 

It costs just £75 to advertise a vacancy with us.  For each vacancy we will place a linage listing of up to 200 words and one logo online for up to one month.  This includes free hyperlinks to your web and email addresses, details in the daily RSS feed and email update.  Brief details will also be included in a new section in our main paper publication, CJS Weekly, these will direct readers to your main advert online.  Additional words and logos can be added to the basic listing, longer runs can also be arranged.  We also offer package deals for multiple adverts to be placed over a specified period, please ask about these.  Rates Card

 

We do require the name of the employer for our records although appreciate you may not wish to publish this information.
