ENVIRONMENTAL TRAINING IN LEEDS:
Get a Nationally recognised vocational qualification while working alongside our
team of volunteers…
We are now offering 2 NVQ courses enrolling this September.
NVQ Level 1 in Land-Based Operations offers practical skills and Health &
Safety training required to enter work in the land-based sector ideal for
people with an interest in working outdoors but relatively little experience or
confidence in practical skills.
NVQ Level 2 in Environmental Conservation offers more in depth training
and higher-level skills including dry stone walling, fence and stile building,
tree felling and hedge laying ideal for people with more experience and
confidence in practical conservation work.
Both courses run for roughly 38 weeks (depending upon individual students) and
require 2 days a week attendance at Hollybush.
Days as currently allocated (subject to alteration): Level 1 Thursday and
Friday, Level 2 Tuesday and Wednesday
