Walk Norfolk 24 Co-ordinator - Pathmakers CiO

Pathmakers CIO has received funding from Heritage Fund and Norfolk County Council to run a two-year programme of activities focused on getting people out walking in the environment. The Project started in July 2023 and successfully delivered the October 2023 walking festival. We are looking to contract an individual, or partnership, to undertake the delivery of the WalkNorfolk 2024 festival and the design and running of the Wellbeing Programme.

The Cairngorms National Park (CNP) is the largest national park in the UK, covering 4500km2. We now have an exciting opportunity for an Outdoor Access Officer to join the CNPA to help us fulfil our statutory access functions and plan, develop and implement policies and access programmes and provide advice on a range of access issues.

Ranger (Northern) - Lake District National Park Authority

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Ranger to join our Northern Ranger team, based at Threlkeld, near Keswick.

You will play an important role within the team to negotiate, organise and deliver our practical work programme. This includes maintaining and improving public rights of way, other paths and Open Access land, as well as practical activities to ensure our owned properties are well looked after.

The role is varied and diverse, with a mix of desk work, site visits, on site supervisory work and practical delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the iconic Three Peaks area of the Yorkshire Dales. You will be primarily concerned with the maintenance of the public rights of way network and other access routes and it’s essential you can plan and implement, to a high standard, a variety of practical tasks. You will play a key role in maintaining engineered paths on the Three Peaks challenge route as well as assisting the Area Manager with developing and implementing the Three Peaks Project.
