Although this website has lots of jobs CJS originally started as a good old fashioned newsletter and our original publication CJS Weekly which was first published in July 1994 still has more adverts than anything else. This is because it's the only one of our three recruitment publications which carries free advertising, yes, that's right you may advertise for staff without paying CJS a penny. Originally aimed at countryside rangers the publication now covers all countryside related vacancies, everything from arboriculturist to zoologists.
Every year CJS advertises between 4,000 and 5,000 paid vacancies all within the countryside, conservation and environmental sectors.Save time and money, let CJS take the strain out of your job search.
Every week we read and review more than ten national newspapers and eight industry specific journals and papers. We also search eight or more national government agency websites and over a dozen national charity websites. In addition we read dozens of industry specific journals and magazines to keep in touch with the sector. We're members of organisations as diverse as the Centre for Alternative Technology and the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust.
CJS is delighted to be the countryside sectors leading recruitment publication and to be endorsed by the rangers associations of England and Wales (Countryside Management Association) and Scotland (Scottish Countryside Rangers Association).
With 15 years experience in this very specialised and highly competitive sector we know which posts are relevant and likely to appeal to you, our reader. If we don't think the vacancy is appropriate we don't accept the advert.
Let CJS be your guide to your perfect post.
