Alderney Wildlife Trust  aims to promote the conservation and protection of Alderney's terrestrial and marine wildlife and associated habitats, also to promote the conservation and protection of places of scientific interest, amenity value or natural beauty.

 

The Association of Local Government Ecologists represents professional ecologists working in local government in the UK. In partnership with others, ALGE supports and develops the nature conservation work of local authorities.

 

The Barn Owl Trust is a registered charity dedicated to conserving the Barn Owl and its environment and is the main source of Barn Owl information in the UK. The Trust's educational work began in1989 and we now also run training courses for ecological consultants and planning officers. We carry out surveys of old buildings due for development, and advise on Barn Owl mitigation measures.

 

BirdWatch Ireland is Ireland's largest conservation organisation with over 14,000 members and over 22 branches nationwide. We work to protect birds and biodiversity through scientific research, the management of a natural network of nature reserves, policy & advocay and publications.

Coastnet is an international networking organisation promoting exchange of ideas, information and expertise.

 

The Cornwall Wildlife Trust has been a registered charity since 1962. Unlike any other organisation we are concerned solely with Cornwall and all aspects of the county's wildlife and habitats.

 

The Council for National Parks is the national charity which works to protect and enhance the National Parks of England and Wales.

Earth Trust  Countryside conservation in Oxfordshire and beyond.

 

The English Ranger Association (ERA) is a  FREE Membership organisation open to anyone working or volunteering as Rangers or Wardens in England, (or used to be fulltime Rangers or Wardens). Students and supporter members are also welcome. 'ERA is run by Rangers for Rangers'

 

Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG) provides farmers and landowners with practical advice on making adjustments to farm operations and enhancing farm features in order to support wildlife, landscape, archaeology, access and other conservation issues.

 

The Flora Locale website offers free information on wild plants, habitats and ecological restoration.  The Flora Locale annual training programme provides ideal opportunities to see first hand wild-plant and ecological projects led by experienced practitioners.

 

The Folly Wildlife Rescue Trust operates throughout East Sussex and Kent rescuing, treating and rehabilitating injured, orphaned, sick and distressed wild animals and birds. Each year we admit in excess of 3000 casualties including badgers, foxes, deer, swans, hedgehogs and birds of every description. Join our Supporter Group for just £10 a year.

 

Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust is the county's largest wildlife conservation charity with over 70 nature reserves, more than 19,000 members and 300 volunteers all working towards the protection of wildlife for the future. Our local focus enables us to practically demonstrate good conservation practice as well as develop an extensive local knowledge base.

 

Gwent Wildlife Trust works locally to make Gwent richer in wildlife. We manage land, influence decision-making and champion the contribution the natural environment makes to everyone's well-being.

 

Herefordshire Nature Trust is the leading local force for wildlife in Herefordshire.

 

Hertfordshire Wildlife Trust is the County Wildlife Trust for Hertfordshire.

 

Landscape ecology is the study of interactions, across space and time, between the structure and function of physical, biological and cultural components of landscapes. The International Association for Landscape Ecology (UK) is a not-for-profit organisation promoting communication between scientists, policy-makers, planners and practitioners; anyone can subscribe. Offwell Woodland & Wildlife Trust manages the Woodland Education Centre in Devon. Volunteers for conservation tasks or biodiversity surveys welcomed! The People’s Trust for Endangered Species lead the Biodiversity Action Plan's for the noble chafer, violet click and stag beetle and run the National Dormouse Monitoring Programme.  We run an extensive UK events programme and rely on volunteers to participate in national wildlife surveys, our traditional orchard survey. and our hedgerows for dormice project. We also offer grants and internship funding for conservation projects.

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust is the County Wildlife Trust for Staffordshire.

 

Suffolk Wildlife Trust is a county-based charity, working for the benefit of wildlife and habitats in Suffolk. Our aim is to safeguard the wildlife and habitats of Suffolk for the future.

 

Sussex Wetland Landscapes Project promotes the sustainable management of river catchments and their landscapes and the restoration of wetland habitats for people and for wildlife.
