CJS Monthly - June 2007.

It's a short one this month, just five pages with an additional four of events which mean that the printing was quick. It's online for you to peruse at leisure. We had a bit of a problem with the email e-minders but we think that's sorted and they've all been sent this morning.

New for this month - the Events Diary is online in a separate downloadable pdf.

We have a new printer.

Full colour, spot colour and black & white all in one marvellous machine – it even works out which is which without us having to tell it – no, we don’t know how it does it either, we just push the button! The literature claims it's faster than the previous one as well, so that should make our lives a little easier. The one which has just gone to the printer's graveyard had done nearly 1.5million copies in four years, we hope the new one will be as reliable.

Webshop fully functional

We've resolved the problems with the webshop – or we think we have! We've also been able to add an option for corporate purchasers to supply purchase order details and request an invoice to be sent directly to the finance office.

Back to work..

Hope you all had a happy and sunshine filled Easter.

CJS office back up and running after a very quiet bank holiday. Several jobs online already and CJS Monthly in full. This month it's eight pages plus four more of events. Another first – it contains the first full colour display advert in a paper edition of CJS.

New fish – New road

We've got eight new fish in the fish tank today, seven little blue tetras and one catfish, allegedly an Agassizii but it's not spotty so we don't think so. And half a new road, we're located on a private unmetalled road which has taken rather a lot of hammer over the winter and has quite a lot of pot holes. Today a gang of men with large, noisy heavy machinery have been digging it up, adding to it and then flattening it again. The whole office is now shaking as the road roller trundles up and down outside and we're at the back of the building! So apologies to anyone who calls and hears the cacophony in the background.
