Wet, wet, sodden, drenched but not flooded

Rain has fallen it seems non-stop all week, not to mention thunder, lightening and the odd hail storm. Owl has spent most of her time on the telephone wires and the youngsters have been calling to her. In our nice dry (except for the odd shower from wet dogs) office we've plodded on as usual and the Weekly edition is now printing. This week's edition is 15 pages containing 123 new paid posts of which 54 came direct to CJS. Considering the water sluicing down the article is oddly appropriate calling for greater understanding and protection of our wetlands.

Website migration

No, it's not suddenly become a swallow on it's way to Africa.
The website has grown to such a size and you're all using it so much we need bigger, faster servers and more space! Consequently the whole lot is moving this weekend. We are promised that the maximum downtime will be 24 hours and that everything will be back to normal for Monday morning. If everything goes pineapple shaped (that's three stages worse than pear shaped in case you're wondering) this page won't change and you'll know we're hitting someone over the head with now useless bits of kit. Apart from a short interregnum you won't notice any difference except it should be faster. If you do find any missing bits, links that don't work etc please, please do contact us with as much info as possible so that we can fix the problem.

Damn dog…

Hebe is a small black destroyer, we knew that but today's revelation really takes the biscuit. She chewed all the trim, fascia and bits of car within teeth range and today it turns out she's also managed to reach the seatbelts, despite a factory fitted dog guard. The car failed its MOT because of frayed seatbelts! Little monster.
It's been an odd week, we've all been very busy but don't feel like we have anything really to show for it. It just goes that way sometimes. However, we have managed to produce the CJS Weekly as usual it's currently printing. This week's edition is eleven pages long containing 86 new paid posts of which 37 came direct to CJS.
