Thomson Ecology Ltd has opportunities for experienced and very competent
Senior Ecologists and Ecologists with sound consultancy experience to join
our team at our head office in Guildford and at our Regional offices in
Cardiff and Leeds. These are full time permanent positions. We give all
ecologists the chance to manage projects and you will be supported in this
with excellent company systems and substantial training opportunities.
Surveyors required for vibrant Ecological
Consultancy. Initial 3 month contracts starting beginning March 2012,
based in east Yorkshire, with possible contract extension to October based
in our beautiful Northumberland offices. Graduate to experienced
ecologists considered.

turn of this iconic landscape, we’re delivering outstanding outdoor

landscape with teams of volunteers and members of the community, so you’ll
need to keep a close eye on how they’re working.

West Yorkshire Ecology is seeking a temporary bird surveyor. This is a
fixed contract for 6 months in spring/ summer 2012 (beginning April 2nd). The successful applicant will undertake bird surveys at sites within
moorland and moorland fringe habitats of the South Pennines in West
Yorkshire. The applicant will identify and record all bird activity, as well

suite of LCC owned reserves across SE Leeds. The post holder will

Based at one of Yorkshire’s largest nature reserves the trainee programme includes practical conservation work placements, as well as training opportunities. Trainees will work a 32.5 hour week. Harapan Rainforest is an innovative project to protect and restore a former logging concession (c 1000 km2) in Sumatra. We are looking for a Senior level Scientist to work with the Research and Conservation Department at Harapan Rainforest (HRF). You will develop the science required to support the effective
restoration of the site so you will need particular skills and experience in
tropical forest restoration. You will work closely with the HRF Forest
Operations Department to deliver restoration activities according to best
practise.
