There are a lot of Celebration Days in the countryside, conservation and environment sectors throughout the world, for example Tick Prevention Week starting 1 April in the UK is to raise awareness regarding the dangers of tick bites, and how to reduce the chance of infection. 4/3/10 The Integrating Employment & Skills Conference will take place on the Thursday 4th March at the QEII Conference Centre. Discussion will cover the government’s commitment to achieve the target of 325,000 skilled workers in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) industry by 2014. LANTRA – Women & Work Project – “Raising Skills & Unlocking Potential”

£650 Funding From Lantra. Project designed to encourage development & career aspirations of women in under represented sectors.  Aimed at women 19+ to carry out any training activities. Training examples include landscape gardening, tree felling, IT courses, chainsaw cutting.
